Taylor Graduates High School! The Class of 2009.

Family, friends & Taylor,

Please be my guest to leave a special greeting, story, memory, inspiration, or poem as a gift for Taylor's triumph in graduating high school early and with top grades! He's an amazing guy given the roller coaster ride it took to arrive here! Let's celebrate Taylor and let him know the world is waiting for his brilliance. :)

Taylor, it's taken a village to raise you into an exceptional young man. Life has a way of testing us to see how committed we really are to excellence. If so, we should be just about at the top of the excellence peak! You've been my greatest teacher in life and it's an honor to be your Mom. Now go out into the world and serve others your brilliance and watch how your influence will change lives. I believe in you! I love you with all my heart & soul.
Love you,
Marla
(proud mom)

  1. Hi Taylor, Grandpa and I are "kvelling" about news of your upcoming High School Graduation! Such nachas for all of us. We're so proud of you and can't wait to watch you accept your diploma. There are so many memories of you to share and one in particular -- your birth! All of us waiting at the hospital for you to make your appearance. The joy we all felt to welcome our new grandson. What an awesome birthday present to get. We both share our birthdays, just a day or so apart.

Love, Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Dick; two very proud grandparents.

  3. Dear Taylor,

Even though your great uncle Jules and I have not been a close part of your life, we have watched from afar as you grew into the handsome and gifted young man you have become. Your mother, Marla, who is our very special niece, has kept us up to date on your
accomplishments and we've been able to feel a part of your life because of her and how much she cares about you. With that kind of love and support I know you will go out into the world and fulfill all your dreams. Congratulations on your Graduation. We'll be there in our thoughts. All our love and best wishes.

    Your great aunt Judy Chaikin

  4. Congrats Taylor! I am so excited to see you embark on the world and share all that you have to offer! I too remember the day you were born. You took a while to get here but once you were here, you were nothing but a bundle of joy! I still remember when you learned to walk on our golden retriever, Willow. You were one of the cutest kids I'd ever seen and judging from these pictures, you haven't changed much!

Best of luck and lots of love!
    Jessica

  5. Hey T,
A great kid about to become a great man!
I'm so excited you're going to Israel and living on a Kibbutz. Proof positive that you are adventuresome and not stuck spinning your wheels in one place like most people. Right before my dad died he remarked that he only took 85 trips around the sun. It's such a small amount of time we have here and you should never waste it on negativity (in yourself or from anyone else). Enjoy this next trip around the sun! Love, Uncle Mike.

  6. Hey Taylor -
Now the fun really begins. Congrats on your achievement. Everything you have learned in school will be useful but it is only a brief beginning. Get ready for the real test as life has a way of making it interesting!

    Lots of love,
    Aunt Gin and Uncle Craig

  7. Taylor (Bud-Weiser)

I'm sure you don't remember that when you were born I carried you around your Mom's hospital room giving you advice and calling you, "Bud-Weiser". "Hey, Bud-weiser," I said, "Whassup?!"

    Here's my advice now:

Pay attention to the "plain girls". In 10 years you'll be glad you did. They'll be the beautiful ones, inside AND out.

Be a good listener. People will think you're frickin' brilliant.

It's not important to be right. Support others and their ideas and you'll always have more friends than you can shake a stick at...but don't shake sticks at people. It's not nice.

Choose your battles. The best way to win a fight is to avoid it.

Hang around with successful people. They keep you going in the right direction and they have all the good season tickets.

Your great grandmother Mollie, once told me, "Think before you speak." It was the best advice she ever gave me. A close second was, "Keep your feet clean."

Listen to your inner voice. If it feels wrong, it is. Warning: If you think it's your inner voice telling you to hit on 17 or invest in the stock market, don't listen. It's really a little man named Bernie. Stay far away from people like him.

Don't be afraid to say, "I don't know, but I'll find out for you."

I'll always be here with Love,
    "Auntie" Laura

  8. Hi Taylor,

We were so glad to receive an invite to your graduation, however we will not be able to attend, as Zack should be graduating on the same day. We wish you the best that life has to offer, you have the skills, brains, love and drive to do anything in life you want. Take life and run with it. You are an amazing young man, any Mom would be proud to call her son! Wow, Isreal, that should be an amazing experience for you, learn a new trade or farm the land?? You will be ready to come back home and pick a college and soar. Have a wonderful time, we'd love to hear about your travels upon your return. Best of luck in all you do. We have loved having you over to our home, you have always been the perfect gentlemen.

    Love always,
Brian, Dawn, Brett, Zack and Courtney
